  • Julie Brannan

    Meet Julie one of the owners of Country Feeds.

    Julie and Billy have owned country Feeds for 19 years. Julie has always been an animal lover helping her grandad care for his animals on his small holding. Julie has had dogs all her life . These have been a variety of breeds and sizes. She became interested in horses in her teens and bought her first horse that she competed with at 21. Since then, Julie has owned Horses, Goats, Cats and Dogs. She now has several horses, a donkey, cat and dogs. After 19 years she has gained a vast knowledge of all animal feeds and works closely with the supplier representatives to access training and knowledge available. Julie has completed horse feed advisory courses with both Allen and Page and Saracen horse feeds.

  • Billy Wilson

    Meet  Billy one of the owners of country feeds

    Billy and Julie have owned country feeds for 19 years. Billy has always loved animals and was brought up from birth with horses. Billys dad owned herds of horses that Billy helped him care for throughout his life. Since his early 20s Billy has had dogs of different sizes and breeds. Billy has also always had a flock of free-range chickens and geese. A lifetime experience of owning animals and self-research Billy has learnt a lot about animal feeds, animal welfare and animal illnesses. He has always kept his animals as pets sometimes exercising his horses on carts. Billy now has horses, chickens, cats and dogs. Billy now does most of country feeds deliveries and when in store is happy to discuss your animal welfare needs. He is know amongst the team as the chicken expert.

  • Beth Broadbent

    Meet Beth, our longest standing team member.

    Beth has been horse obsessed since she was 6 years old and has been riding and caring for horses ever since. Her family has always owned dogs of various breed and sizes. Beth has completed level 3 Diploma in Equine management where she learnt a lot about horse health, care and management. Beth owns a lot of horses and often competes at a local and national level, recently qualifying for HOYS. She also has Dogs and cats at home. After 7 years at Country Feeds, Beth now has a vast knowledge of all the animal feeds and accessories we stock. Beth has worked closely with our suppliers and complete training with a variety of brands. She has completed her raw feed advisory course with natures menu. She has also completed horse food stockist qualifications with Allen and page and Saracen horse feeds. She is known amongst the team as the horse expert.

  • Lottie Carney

    Meet Lottie, one of our team members.

    Lottie has grown up around animals and always has had a passion for all types of animals from small animal to large and exotic. Lottie also completed her level three in animal management becoming level three qualified in small animal care where she learnt a lot about health and husbandry. Also moving onto an equine apprenticeship where she learnt quite a lot more about horses. Lottie has a wide range of animals herself; these include horses, dogs, chickens and tortoise. Since working for country feeds Lottie has completed her raw feed advisory course as well as gaining horse feed knowledge as well as dry dog food and learning which is best for sensitive diets. Lottie is known amongst the team as the small animal expert.

    Meet Katie, one of our team members

    Julie's daughter Katie has always grown up around animals and helped care for them. Katie has owned several dogs of various breeds. Katie has previously worked in store management for two large retailers; gaining a lot of experience in sales, store operations and customer service. Katie currently owns a dog Oscar (who sometimes comes to store) and has knowledge of dog nutrition, treats and accessories. Since working for country feeds Katie has completed her raw feed advisory course as well as gaining horse feed and dry dog food knowledge. Learning which is best for sensitive diets.
